Hold It Together Hold it together Pieces drifting apart and splitting into smaller fragments Hold it together Shards they cut my fingers when I try to pick them up Hold it together I know the struggle will end but when Hold it together I know the fight will end but when Hold it together Mystery of time is unknown We don't know, I don't know, you don't know I don't know But I try anyway You can get through it Hold it together I know the fight will end but when Hold it together I know the fight will end but when

Night Sky 03:38
One tune, and I'm in Santa Cruz Puffpuffpassing, zooming to the moon Riding an elevator that won't stop Hearing the bell ding as we reach the top Black moths racing on rainbows We reached out and we felt the earth Wet grass brushed our toes While the smoke caressed my nose Limited in our potential, we felt limitless potential Driving through space, peering out the back window As the stars shot over our heads We wondered, where would we go? Black moths racing on rainbows We reached out and we felt the earth Wet grass brushed our toes While the smoke caressed my nose We stood on a hill Looking over all those vigilant lights And wondered about the sky And how we were even alive How lucky am I to be by your side? How lucky are we to be synchronized? How lucky am I to see the sky?

Walking Away 05:12
Walking away Stepping into The dark, quiet alley Walking away I know I need to But I don't really want to There is a place Somewhere in between Pain and tomorrow There is a place Somewhere in between Pain and tomorrow Maybe I'll go Wander down the valley Where the wind is Pushing me so Leaving you there All waving in the window Smile for the moment Never catch a single one Intersecting connecting Repelling rejecting Intersecting connecting Repelling rejecting Propelling Flying high With heavy wings As I walk away From you Intersecting connecting Repelling rejecting Intersecting connecting Repelling rejecting Propelling Flying high With heavy wings As I walk away From you Glad we aligned Even if just for a while Glad we aligned Even if just for a while Yes it's true No woman's an island No woman's an island

about

Seed Crystal is the newest EP release by Boston-based rockers Miele.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We believe in the beautiful interconnection between music and therapy. Seed Crystal represents the birth of our attunement process, the sprouting and growing, the blossoming and flowing, the crystallization and formation.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From Lauren Moquin of Allston Pudding:

"Miele has been playing songs from their EP, Seed Crystal, since last summer, but doing the full Boston venue circuit (Somerville Porchfest, The Midway Café, O’Brien’s, etc.) and perfecting every detail in the studio, each of the three songs has taken a different form. Fittingly, the lyrical content ponders the evolution and form of emotion, inspiring the psych/funk sound surrounding it all.

“The original idea to focus on the concept of crystals and crystallization came from my own reflection on the lyrical content of the three tracks featured on Seed Crystal. When I think of a unifying thread holding these songs together, it is that they all represent crystallized experiences, they all aim to capture the essence of a single moment and emotional experience,” vocalist/pianist, Melissa Lee Nilles explained."
